Welcome to our unique and rapidly growing medical care service which merges the sophisticated technology of a hospital with the efficiency of a skilled nursing facility to reduce the cost of services- whilst maintaining quality of care.
The Centre performs its post operative care in conjunction with hospitals and our aim is to assist patients & hospitals with the ever-increasing dilemma of availability of sub-acute beds in hospitals.
The Centre provides sub-acute, post-acute and rehabilitation services to patients that no longer require in-hospital care but who are not ready to return home yet. (For example, all patients who underwent a surgical procedure or suffer ill health from any one or more of – after effects of a stroke, spinal procedures, post head injury, hip or knee replacement, terminal cancer patients or any other patients requiring palliative care). Our services include – qualified and highly skilled nursing care, physical rehabilitation and therapy from physio, occupational, speech therapists and psychologists.
All patients are treated by a multi-disciplinary team that performs treatment in close liaison with the patients attending Dr. Progress reports are send regularly to Dr’s & Medical Aid Funds to ensure transparency, maximization of treatment & financial peace of mind. Paramount Healthcare Centre endorses the Namibian Association of Medical Aid Funds (NAMAF) benchmark tariffs & patients and members of Medical Aid Funds will therefore experience no “out of pocket expenses”.
